Being the best means having the best people available to work for you. That is why Netcare has introduced bursaries to help train people in providing care when and where it is needed most. If you are academically competent and do not have the knowledge, a study is the answer. If, however, you do not have the means to study, then you will need a helping hand.
Thanks to Netcare bursaries and sponsorships, many people in this position have been able to follow that career path.
Netcare has as its aim to make sure you are in safe hands when you find yourself in their care. That is only possible if the people looking after you know their duties and how to perform them accurately. That is why they have introduced an annual enrollment programme of suitable candidates to join their training.
They realize that not all the candidates are able to pay for this training and award bursaries for those who meet their requirements.
Among the expenses covered by the bursary are tuition fees, prescribed books, housing, and a monthly living allowance.

Netcare bursaries application
Currently, no option exists for online applications on the website of the company. Interested candidates can apply for the Netcare bursaries by sending relevant information by eMail to the group at [email protected].

Requirements:
Applicants must:
- Be South African citizens with identification document(s).
- Have a matric certificate and an acceptable academic background.
- Have proof that they need financial assistance to continue their studies
- Be approved by a facility of higher learning facility. They may need a letter from the facility to prove this.
- Applicants from poor or disadvantaged backgrounds will receive priority.
When to apply for a bursary
Netcare bursaries are awarded to candidates annually. There is no closing date for applications. This fact means that an applicant can make an application at any time of the year.
As an applicant, your only duty is to fill in and sign the application form correctly and then to submit it.
Netcare nursing school
There are different fields of study available at the Netcare nursing school. As an applicant, decide what your preference is, take a good look at the course material, and choose your area of specialty. The application dates for different faculties may vary.
An essential fact that candidates should not overlook is that no bursaries are only available for some study fields, such as the commerce and pharmacy faculties, and not for the others.
Be aware that the group does not provide any sponsored if nursing study opportunities.
